FordHood is an “Auto Trends Magazine” community, a website dedicated to America’s best-selling car brand. “Not your average Ford enthusiast site,” aptly describes what we’re about. This means we’ll honestly share with you our likes and dislikes about Ford, with a focus on new and upcoming product, vehicle specifications, Ford news and some off the beaten road information.
Team Writers
The information posted to this website is original, written by one of our team members and shared with the FordHood community. Occasionally, we’ll lend an article out to another website, but we retain ownership as well as authorship. We’re keenly aware of the Ford v. Chevy mystique and will do our part to pit these two against each other. Managers of the Ford Motor Company and General Motors may have their own ideas how they would like to see these two brands do battle, but we’ll mostly present the facts and let our readers decide. Neither Ford not GM have a stake in this website nor do we solicit the same.
Domain History
This website was launched in October 2011, but the domain was founded in April 2004. Any information pertaining to earlier versions of FordHood has been deleted, moved to archives and transferred to another website by its original owners. Matthew C Keegan, LLC, the owner of FordHood has no connection with the earlier version of this website. Have Fun
Lastly, FordHood is all about having fun. We’re not here to tell you what cars to buy and what cars to avoid. Rather, we want you to find information that has been posted from our unique perspective and encourage you to participate by leaving helpful and clean comments. We do not tolerate spammers, bullysand liars – if you have a personal agenda, we encourage you to take your participation elsewhere. There are plenty of message boards, blogs and social media communities where you can lend your voice and face the consequences. FordHood is here to share valuable information; we want to encourage thoughtful and expressive free speech without our readers worrying that they’ll be intimidated or harassed.
